Research Before You Choose

Choosing the right school can be tough, so research first to make an informed decision!

Research Before You Choose use the various tools available to you: College Scorecard, College Navigator,   Federal Student AidFinancial Aid Shopping Sheet, Paying for College, and Tuition Assistance (TA) Decide.  To find out the total estimated yearly cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, and other living expenses, go to Cost of Attendance.  Our Net Price Calculator can provide a preliminary estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility.  NMSU Financial Aid Advisors can help you create the best financial plan.  Determine the price of books, course materials, and supplies at the NMSU Bookstore.

Explore financial assistance through University Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.  Use this checklist to help you in the financial aid process.  Visit the FAFSA Application Process page and view the FAFSA video tutorial for step-by-step instructions.
