What is SpouseWorks? SpouseWorks is the new name for the Department of Defense's military spouse career and education program. The rebranding is replacing MyCAA (My Career Advancement Account) and related spouse employment services with a single, broader platform called SpouseWorks.
SpouseWorks Scholarship (formerly MyCAA Scholarship) provides eligible military spouses with up to $4,000 (up to $2,000 per fiscal year) in financial assistance to pursue a license, certification, or up to an associate degree, or for continuing education courses to maintain a license or certification necessary for employment.
Military spouses of active-duty, National Guard, or reserve service members in pay grades E-1 through E-9, W-1 through W-3, and O-1 through O-3 who have successfully completed high school are eligible for this scholarship. You can check your eligibility for the scholarship by visiting the website and applying for an account.
