Discover Ways to Give to Our Military and Veteran Students
Military and Veterans Programs offer several areas to give in support of our military, veterans and their dependents. All gifts go directly toward the chosen area and are 100% tax deductible. You can make a one-time gift in the amount of your choice or set a recurring monthly gift. NMSU employees may set up a recurring gift at mypayrollgift.nmsu.edu
We have provided a secure giving opportunity for you online through our different areas. Should you wish to mail your support, please send it to NMSU Foundation, P.O. Box 3590, Las Cruces, NM 88003. Please make your check or money order payable to “NMSU Foundation” and specify the area you wish to give.
Thank you for your kind support!

Military and Veterans Programs host a Welcome Back Picnic at the beginning of every Fall semester. This event is a great way for our military/veteran/dependent students, who are new to NMSU to connect with current students. At this event we host community veteran organizations and NMSU organizations whose mission is to support and promote our military/veteran and dependent students.

Here’s some highlights from our events: Armed Forces 5K Run, Military/Family Panel Discussions, Veterans Awareness Day Picnic, and NMSU Faculty and Staff Military Veteran Banquet. These events are a way to honor and support all of NMSU’s military and veteran students, faculty, and staff.
The Graduation Cord Ceremony is held at the end of the Fall and Spring semester to honor all graduating NMSU/DACC military and veteran students. This event is our way to saying Congratulations to this momentous achievement, and to provide the students with a Red, White, and Blue cord they can wear at Commencement.
